“ If you want to know the best 0laces to show off to your friends, family, coworkers in the MD/Northern Virginia/DC region . . . Normally my recommendation would be to go to a bar and tip heavily and establish a good image with service industry people, which is always a good idea. But with two haircuts from the barbers/stylists here, I discovered half a dozen amazing restaurants and markets that I hadn't experienced while living and performing here for almost a decade. These folks are some of the most amazingly well-traveled, cosmopolitan, experience-seeking polymaths I've ever gotten to talk to, and at least two of them can easily eclipse my own ridiculous travel experience and will be thrilled to relay stories and opinions about different regions of the US/Canada as well as Vietnam and other international destinations for those who like a story or yearn for travel ideas. Haircut looked fresh and fantastic both trips, and I left with a list of places to try and show off. It's way more than a Barber shop; it's a raquenture/storyteller hub and wishlist hot spot and a jetsetter club of places to explore and seek out locally, nationwide, and international.
